Job Overview
The Water Quality Assurance Manager will lead SONES’ quality assurance program, ensuring that all water supplied meets national and international safety standards. This role involves developing and overseeing testing protocols, managing a team of laboratory technicians, and coordinating with regulatory bodies to maintain compliance. The manager will also drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging data analytics to optimize water treatment processes and reduce operational risks.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive water quality testing protocols aligned with Senegalese regulations and WHO guidelines.
- Lead a team of 12 laboratory technicians, providing mentorship, performance evaluations, and training.
- Oversee sampling, analysis, and reporting of water quality data from all treatment plants and distribution networks.
- Collaborate with engineering to optimize treatment processes based on analytical results.
- Prepare and present monthly quality performance reports to senior management and regulatory agencies.
- Manage corrective actions for any non‑conformities, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement projects using statistical tools and risk‑based approaches.
Required Skills
- In‑depth knowledge of water treatment technologies and quality standards.
- Proficiency in laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and data analysis software.

Education

Salary
The position offers a competitive salary range of 2,500,000 to 3,500,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with performance‑based bonuses.
