Job Overview
This role involves designing, optimizing, and maintaining marine-based renewable energy systems, including offshore wind turbines and tidal energy converters. The position is based in Joal-Fadiouth, a coastal hub for marine energy development in West Africa. Candidates will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions for clean energy generation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and analyze marine renewable energy systems for coastal environments
- Conduct site assessments for offshore wind and tidal energy projects
- Develop technical specifications for energy infrastructure components
- Monitor system performance and implement efficiency improvements
- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations
Required Skills
- Expertise in marine energy technologies (wind, tidal, or wave)
- Proficiency in CAD and energy simulation software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with coastal engineering principles
- Fluency in French and English
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Renewable Energy
