Job Overview

The Network Optimization Engineer will play a pivotal role in enhancing the performance, reliability, and efficiency of Orange Senegal’s radio access network (RAN) and core infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement optimization plans for 4G LTE and emerging 5G networks, focusing on parameters such as handover, load balancing, and antenna tilt.
• Collaborate with radio planning, engineering, and operations teams to align optimization activities with network rollout schedules.
• Utilize advanced analytics tools and machine learning models to predict traffic patterns and proactively address potential issues.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and present findings to senior management and stakeholders.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of LTE and 5G NR architecture, protocols, and performance metrics.
• Proficiency with network optimization tools such as Atoll, Mentum Planet, or similar platforms.

• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a data‑driven mindset.

Education
