Job Overview
The Branch Operations Manager will lead the operational excellence of the Kaffrine branch, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and superior customer service. Reporting to the Regional Operations Director, you will oversee daily transaction processing, risk management, staff supervision, and implementation of digital banking solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all branch operational activities, including cash handling, teller services, and back‑office processes.
- Ensure strict adherence to local banking regulations, AML/KYC policies, and internal control standards.
- Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics, implementing corrective actions to achieve efficiency targets.
- Lead a team of 10‑15 staff members, providing coaching, performance evaluations, and professional development.
- Collaborate with the sales department to align operational capabilities with business development goals.
- Oversee the rollout and maintenance of digital banking platforms, enhancing customer experience and reducing manual processing.
- Prepare and present operational reports to senior management, highlighting risks, opportunities, and compliance status.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and service providers.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Senegalese banking regulations, AML, and risk management frameworks.
- Proven leadership and team‑building abilities in a fast‑paced banking environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a data‑driven approach.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in banking software, core banking systems, and MS Office Suite.

Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as Certified Banking Operations Professional (CBOP) or AML certifications are advantageous.
Experience
Minimum of five years of progressive experience in banking operations, with at least two years in a supervisory or managerial role. Experience in branch management, process optimization, and regulatory compliance is essential.
Salary
The compensation package ranges from 2,000,000 to 3,500,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses and incentives are also part of the remuneration structure.
