Job Purpose

The Merchant Account Supervisor will oversee the rollout and management of corporate merchant services, ensuring smooth onboarding, training, branding, and performance monitoring of merchant partners across a designated portfolio in Senegal.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum 2+ years of experience in a similar role
Fluency in French is required; English is an advantage
Strong communication skills (oral and written)
Experience in field-based merchant onboarding and acquisition
Must have work authorization in Senegal

Key Responsibilities

Deploy and manage corporate merchants across Senegal
Onboard merchants and provide training on Wave products and services
Oversee merchant branding, technical setup, and operational readiness
Monitor merchant performance and portfolio activity levels
Conduct regular field visits to ensure compliance and smooth operations
Re-engage inactive merchants and improve transaction activity
Meet corporate partners’ senior management for performance reviews
Process merchant settlements and handle operational requests
Support rollout of new merchant stores and expansions
Collaborate with marketing teams on promotions, events, and campaigns
Report technical issues and bugs to engineering teams
Collect market intelligence, competitor insights, and customer feedback
