Job Overview
The Quality Assurance Manager will direct Sanofi Senegal’s QA activities, ensuring compliance with GMP, ISO 9001, and local regulations. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the role oversees audits, quality systems, and continuous improvement projects, acting as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities to maintain certifications and uphold product safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Quality Management System aligned with GMP and ISO standards.
- Lead internal and external audits, manage CAPA processes, and ensure timely resolution.
- Supervise QA staff, conduct performance reviews, and foster skill development.
- Oversee batch release, product certification, and documentation review.
- Collaborate with Production, R&D, and Supply Chain to address quality issues.
- Monitor quality metrics, generate reports, and present findings to senior leadership.
- Ensure supplier qualification and ongoing quality assessments.
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
Required Skills
- Deep understanding of GMP, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Effective leadership and team management.
- Excellent communication in French and English.
- Proficiency with QMS and LIMS software.
- Project management or Six Sigma certification preferred.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biomedical Sciences or a related field is required. A Master’s degree or certifications such as CQA or Six Sigma Black Belt are advantageous.
Experience
Minimum five years of progressive QA experience in a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, including audit management and regulatory liaison.
Salary
The compensation ranges from 2,500,000 to 3,500,000 SSP per month, plus performance‑based bonuses.
