Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Offshore Renewable Energy Policy Analyst to join our dynamic team in Mboro. This role focuses on analyzing, developing, and influencing energy policies related to offshore renewable energy projects in Senegalese waters. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing and proposed energy policies affecting offshore renewable energy development in Senegal
- Monitor regulatory developments at national, regional, and international levels relevant to offshore wind and marine energy projects
- Develop policy recommendations and position papers to support TotalEnergies’ strategic objectives in Senegal’s renewable energy sector
- Engage with government agencies, policymakers, and regulatory bodies to advocate for supportive renewable energy policies
- Coordinate with legal, environmental, and technical teams to ensure policy recommendations align with operational requirements
- Prepare regulatory impact assessments and policy briefs for senior management and stakeholders
