Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Supply Chain Optimization Specialist to join our dynamic team in Kolda. This role is pivotal in driving the digital transformation of supply chain operations for our clients in Senegal, leveraging technology to streamline processes, improve visibility, and reduce operational costs. As a Digital Supply Chain Optimization Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing existing supply chain processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing digital solutions that enhance efficiency and performance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive analyses of supply chain processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for digital intervention.
• Design and implement digital solutions, such as IoT devices, blockchain for traceability, and AI-driven predictive analytics, to optimize supply chain operations.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate new technologies into existing systems, ensuring seamless functionality and user adoption.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to provide real-time visibility into supply chain performance metrics.
• Train and support client teams on the use of digital tools and platforms, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions, making data-driven adjustments to maximize outcomes.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in digital supply chain management, recommending innovative approaches to enhance operational efficiency.
• Work with sustainability teams to incorporate green logistics practices into digital transformation initiatives.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in supply chain management software and digital tools, such as ERP systems, TMS, and WMS.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies, including IoT, AI, machine learning, and blockchain, and their applications in logistics.
• Excellent project management abilities, with a track record of leading digital transformation projects from conception to implementation.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
• Familiarity with sustainability practices in supply chain management is a plus.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Advanced degrees or certifications in digital transformation, data analytics, or project management are highly desirable.

Experience

Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years focused on digital transformation or technology implementation. Experience in a logistics or manufacturing environment is essential, with a proven ability to drive process improvements through digital means.
