Job Overview

The Cybersecurity Engineer will design, implement, and manage robust security architectures that protect Cisco’s and client infrastructures against evolving threats. Reporting to the Head of Security Operations, the role involves hands‑on technical work, threat analysis, and the development of security policies that align with global standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement security controls for network infrastructure, cloud services, and endpoint devices.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analyses.
  • Develop and maintain incident response procedures, ensuring swift mitigation of security breaches.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to embed security best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Monitor security alerts, analyze logs, and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date documentation of security architectures, policies, and compliance frameworks.
  • Participate in security awareness training programs for internal staff and client partners.

Required Skills

  • Deep knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and SIEM platforms.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and zero‑trust architectures.
  • Strong analytical skills for threat modeling and incident investigation.
  • Excellent communication abilities to convey complex security concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CCNP Security) are highly desirable.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline is required. Advanced degrees or specialized training in network security will be considered an asset.

Experience

Salary
