Job Overview
The Cybersecurity Analyst will join Dell Technologies Senegal’s IT Security department to protect critical information assets, monitor threats, and implement robust security controls. Reporting to the Information Security Manager, the analyst will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance with international standards such as ISO 27001 and local regulations. This position plays a pivotal role in safeguarding client data, supporting secure product deployments, and enhancing the overall security posture of the organization. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and analyze logs from firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection tools.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts with IT and development teams.
- Respond to security incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and document findings.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards aligned with industry best practices.
- Collaborate with auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, VPNs, and encryption protocols.
- Experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence tools.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for automation.
- Understanding of cloud security concepts for AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills to convey technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
Education
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable and demonstrate a commitment to professional growth in the field of Information Security.
Experience
Applicants should have 3 to 5 years of hands‑on experience in cybersecurity roles, preferably within a multinational technology environment. Experience with incident response, vulnerability management, and security architecture design is essential.
