Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full operational lifecycle of the 50 MW solar power plant, ensuring generation targets are met.
  • Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs for PV modules, inverters, and balance‑of‑system components.
  • Monitor plant performance using SCADA systems, analyze data trends, and initiate corrective actions to optimize output.
  • Ensure compliance with Senegalese energy regulations, environmental standards, and Schneider Electric safety protocols.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers, technicians, and contractors, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Manage relationships with local utilities, grid operators, and government agencies to facilitate seamless power dispatch.
  • Prepare and present operational reports, KPI dashboards, and financial performance summaries to senior management.
  • Coordinate emergency response and outage management procedures to minimize downtime.
  • Drive cost‑reduction initiatives through process optimization, vendor negotiations, and technology upgrades.

Required Skills
