Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Operations Center Analyst to join our growing team in Louga. This role is critical to our mission of providing real-time monitoring, detection, and response to security incidents. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing security alerts, investigating potential breaches, and implementing mitigation strategies to protect our clients’ digital assets. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) tools to identify suspicious activities.
- Perform deep-dive forensic analysis on security alerts to determine the scope and impact of incidents.
- Coordinate with the incident response team to contain and remediate identified threats.
- Develop and refine security playbooks to standardize response procedures.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and provide actionable remediation guidance.
- Generate detailed reports on security metrics and incident trends for management review.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SSL/TLS).
- Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, and IDS/IPS technologies.
- Strong understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK framework and common adversary tactics.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities under high-pressure situations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field is mandatory. Professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP are highly preferred and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.
Experience
Candidates must demonstrate a minimum of 3 to 5 years of direct experience working within a Security Operations Center (SOC) or a similar cybersecurity role. Proven experience in incident handling and threat hunting is essential for success in this position.
Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 850,000 SSP to 1,200,000 SSP, depending on the candidate’s expertise and technical certifications. This competitive package reflects the high level of skill required for this critical role.
