Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management for smart city infrastructure initiatives in Tivaouane
• Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets while ensuring alignment with urban development goals
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders including municipal authorities, technology vendors, and community representatives
• Implement IoT and smart technology solutions for urban infrastructure management
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, environmental standards, and sustainability requirements
• Manage project teams, contractors, and technical specialists to deliver integrated smart city solutions
• Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders

Education

Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Architecture, or related field with specialization in smart cities or urban technology. Additional certifications in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) and smart city technologies are highly desirable.

Experience

Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in infrastructure project management, with at least 3 years specifically in smart city or urban technology projects. Experience working in West Africa or similar emerging markets is preferred. Demonstrated success in managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects with budgets exceeding $5 million.
