Job Overview
The Energy Finance Risk Analyst will play a pivotal role in assessing financial risks associated with ENI’s energy projects in Senegal. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will analyze market trends, commodity price fluctuations, and regulatory changes to provide actionable insights that safeguard the company’s financial health. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for upstream and downstream energy projects, focusing on price volatility, credit exposure, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and maintain financial models that forecast cash flows, scenario analyses, and stress testing under various market conditions.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and legal teams to integrate risk mitigation strategies into project planning.
- Prepare detailed risk reports and present findings to senior leadership, highlighting potential impacts on profitability and investment decisions.
- Monitor global energy market trends, geopolitical developments, and local policy changes that could affect ENI’s operations in Senegal.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by providing risk‑adjusted financial inputs.
- Ensure adherence to internal risk management frameworks and external regulatory requirements.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with proficiency in Excel, VBA, and financial modeling software.
- In‑depth knowledge of energy markets, commodity pricing, and risk management techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex risk concepts into clear recommendations.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple priorities.

Education
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required. Advanced certifications such as CFA, FRM, or an MBA are highly desirable and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.
Experience
Candidates should possess 3 to 5 years of professional experience in financial risk analysis, preferably within the energy, utilities, or commodities sectors. Prior exposure to project finance, investment appraisal, or regulatory risk in an African context will be viewed favorably.
Salary
The compensation package ranges from 2,500,000 to 4,000,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses and incentives are also part of the overall remuneration structure.
