Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement digital solutions to support sustainable forestry practices in Senegal.
- Collaborate with local communities, governments, and businesses to promote sustainable forestry practices.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for digital innovation in forestry management.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, business leaders, and local communities.
- Provide technical assistance and training to local communities and government officials on digital forestry management.
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Forestry or related field.
- 8-12 years of experience in forestry management, with a focus on digital solutions.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in programming languages such as Python and R.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
Education
Master’s degree in Forestry or related field from a recognized university.
Experience
8-12 years of experience in forestry management, with a focus on digital solutions.
Salary
250,000 – 350,000 SSP per month.
