Key Job Responsibilities

As the Country Growth Operations Lead, your responsibilities will include:

User Growth & Customer Acquisition

• Develop and execute scalable user acquisition strategies to accelerate customer growth.
• Optimize distribution channels and improve customer onboarding processes.
• Analyze customer behavior, market trends, and campaign performance to reduce cost of customer acquisition (CAC).
• Lead initiatives focused on increasing monthly active users (MAUs).

Agent Network Operations & Liquidity Management

• Manage agent acquisition, onboarding, and operational setup.
• Oversee mobile money agent liquidity management to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Strengthen agent performance through operational excellence and market support.
• Build sustainable agent ecosystems that support rapid business expansion.

Leadership & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with the CEO, Head of Scaling Operations, and Country General Manager/Director of Operations.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to improve systems and operational efficiency through data and technology.
• Lead, mentor, and scale high-performing teams while embedding a culture of accountability and innovation.
• Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and external partners.

Business Performance & Strategic Growth

• Manage operational and financial KPIs aligned with country growth targets.
• Evaluate performance metrics and identify opportunities for business optimization.
• Support market expansion efforts across key African growth regions.

Required Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Economics, Telecommunications, Operations Management, or a related field.
• A Master’s degree (MBA) or advanced business qualification will be an added advantage.
