Job Overview
The Audit Senior will lead audit engagements for a variety of clients, ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local regulations. This role involves planning, executing, and finalizing audit assignments while mentoring junior staff and liaising with senior client stakeholders. You will work closely with the Audit & Assurance department to deliver high‑quality audit reports, identify risk areas, and provide actionable recommendations that enhance financial transparency. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute audit engagements for clients across multiple sectors.
- Assess internal controls, identify material misstatements, and recommend improvements.
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports in accordance with IFRS, local GAAP, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage audit teams, provide coaching, and ensure timely delivery of high‑quality work.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to senior client management and KPMG partners.
- Stay updated on emerging accounting standards, regulatory changes, and industry best practices.
- Support business development initiatives by contributing to proposals and client presentations.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English.
- Proficiency in audit software (e.g., KPMG Clara, CaseWare) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
- Leadership qualities with experience supervising junior staff.
- High ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality.
Education
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CA are highly preferred and demonstrate a commitment to the profession.
Experience
Candidates must have at least five years of progressive audit experience, preferably within a Big Four or reputable regional accounting firm. Experience auditing financial statements of listed companies, banks, or multinational subsidiaries will be considered an advantage.
Salary
The compensation package ranges from 2,500,000 to 3,500,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses and annual salary reviews are part of the remuneration structure.
