Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marine Conservation Biologist to join our team in Fatick, Senegal. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our marine conservation efforts in the region, working closely with local communities, governments, and other stakeholders to protect and preserve marine ecosystems. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement marine conservation strategies and plans
  • Collaborate with local communities, governments, and other stakeholders to protect and preserve marine ecosystems
  • Conduct research and monitoring to inform conservation efforts
  • Develop and manage budgets and reports
  • Supervise and mentor staff and interns

Required Skills

  • Master’s degree in marine biology, ecology, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in marine conservation
  • Strong knowledge of marine ecosystems and conservation principles
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Fluency in English and French
