Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement digital solutions to improve the management of Senegal’s forests
- Work closely with our team of foresters, conservationists, and IT specialists to design and implement new technologies
- Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for improving forest management
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and local communities
- Provide training and support to our team on the use of digital technologies for forest management
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Forestry or related field
- 5-7 years of experience in forest management or a related field
- Strong technical skills, including experience with GIS, remote sensing, and data analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
