Job Overview

The Construction Project Controls Engineer will play a pivotal role in monitoring, reporting, and optimizing the performance of construction projects across the Kaffrine region. Reporting to the PMO Director, you will be responsible for establishing robust control systems, analyzing project data, and providing actionable insights to senior management. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
  • Track project costs, forecast expenditures, and analyze variances against budgets.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Implement earned value management (EVM) techniques to assess project health.
  • Coordinate with site engineers, procurement, and finance teams to ensure data accuracy.
  • Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies to keep projects on schedule.
  • Support contract administration and change order processes.
  • Facilitate regular project control meetings and present findings to cross‑functional teams.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in project scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project) and cost control tools.
  • Strong analytical abilities with a focus on data‑driven decision making.
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and local regulatory requirements.

Education
