Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Archivist to join our team in Fatick, Senegal. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of digital preservation strategies for our cultural heritage collections.
The Digital Archivist will work closely with our curatorial and conservation teams to ensure the long-term preservation and accessibility of our digital collections. This will involve the development of digital preservation policies and procedures, as well as the implementation of digital preservation systems and tools.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement digital preservation strategies for our cultural heritage collections
- Work closely with curatorial and conservation teams to ensure the long-term preservation and accessibility of our digital collections
- Develop digital preservation policies and procedures
- Implement digital preservation systems and tools
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the integration of digital preservation into our overall collections management strategy
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in archival science, library science, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in digital preservation or a related field
- Strong knowledge of digital preservation principles and practices
- Experience with digital preservation systems and tools
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
