Job Overview

As a Digital Learning Content Developer, you will play a pivotal role in creating interactive educational resources for K-12 and vocational training programs. This position is ideal for a creative professional passionate about leveraging technology to enhance learning outcomes in Senegal. The role involves collaborating with educators, instructional designers, and software developers to produce engaging, standards-aligned digital content.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop interactive e-learning modules using tools like Articulate 360 and Adobe Captivate
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure curriculum accuracy and alignment with national education standards
• Integrate multimedia elements (videos, animations, quizzes) to enhance user engagement
• Conduct usability testing and refine content based on feedback from teachers and students
• Stay updated on emerging trends in edtech and incorporate innovative features into learning platforms

Required Skills

• Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools and LMS platforms
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles (ADDIE model)
• Experience in creating SCORM-compliant content
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Fluency in French and English

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Instructional Design, or related field. A Master’s Degree in Educational Technology is a plus.

Experience

3-5 years of experience in educational content development, preferably in a digital learning environment. Experience in African education contexts is highly advantageous.

Salary

1,500,000 – 2,200,000 SSP per annum, commensurate with experience.
